The REUSE tool already supports Mercurial, so the API theoretically could as well. However, we'll need to transpose all the logic to this VCS, auto-detect it or at least provide a selector etc.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
