My contribution to the deployment of web team supported onion routing with research tracked and coordinated with TorProject and it's community in https://github.com/Kreyren/kreyren/issues/60

This contribution is staged implementation that I plan to work on once system-hackers decide on how we want to implement it which could be done independently of system-hackers effort as my goal here is to make the implementation as painless and efficient as possible. ^-^

Blockers

Decision made on:

  • Implementation
    • Bare metal
    • In jail e.g. chroot or docker
    • in VM
  • Load balancing
  • Handling of certificates
  • List of services that we want to onionize

TODO:

  • Test environment
  • HTTP-Header onion-location
