Following the success of the illustrated book "Ada & Zangemann - A Tale of

Software, Skateboards, and Raspberry Ice Cream", the story is now available as
|
|
an animated movie.
|
|

Released as an Open Educational Resource, under a Creative Commons
|
|
By Share-Alike Licence, it tells tells the story of the famous
|
|
inventor Zangemann and the girl Ada, a curious tinkerer. Ada begins
|
|
to experiment with hardware and software, and in the process
|
|
realises how crucial it is for her and others to control
|
|
technology.
|
|
</p>

<p>
|
|
This fascinating story, by Matthias Kirschner and Sandra Brandstätter,
|
|
encourages children, especially girls, to tinker with hardware and
|
|
software and encouraging them to shape their own technology.
|
|
</p>
|
|
|
|
<p>
|
|
<em>The movie is currently released in English, German, and French. More languages will follow in the next months. In the queue we currently have Spanish, Danish, and Italian.</em>
