  11. We are looking for bright interns to
  12. join our team. The internships typically take between four and
  13. twelve months, and we accept applications at all times. FSFE
  14. operates in a lively environment of numerous volunteers from
  15. many countries and several full-time employees.

  19. The interns will work as full-time office employees in Berlin, Germany.
  20. This involves contributing to our <a
  21. href="/projects/work.html">ongoing projects</a> and many other
  22. tasks: implementation of PR activities and communication with
  23. contacts from the community, NGOs, industry, and public
  24. administration, as well as general office tasks. The intern will
  25. coordinate volunteers and FSFE team members during work on various
  26. projects. She or he will also manage the president's travel plan and
  27. occasionally accompany the president on his travels.

  32. to say about their work in FSFE and the Free Software movement:

  52. <h2>Requirements</h2>
  53. <ul>
  54. <li>
  55. interest in and passion for <a href="/freesoftware/freesoftware.html">Free
  56. Software</a>, as well as a solid
  57. basic knowledge of the concept
  58. </li>
  59. <li>
  60. organisation and improvisation skills
  61. </li>
  62. <li>
  63. ability to integrate into a young, motivated and professional
  64. team
  65. </li>
  66. <li>
  67. good working knowledge of English, but other languages are
  68. welcome, ability to understand/speak German is a plus
  69. </li>
  70. <li>
  71. basic acquaintance with working on GNU/Linux systems –
  72. alternatively, you will be migrated at the start of your
  73. internship
  74. </li>
  75. <li>
  76. no programming skills required, basic HTML knowledge will do.
  77. An affinity to technology and willingness to learn are
  78. indispensable, though
  79. </li>

  81. internship duration: four months minimum up to twelve months
  82. maximum.

  109. <h2>Eligibility</h2>
  110. <p>
  111. Everybody fulfilling the above criterions are eligible for an
  112. internship in FSFE. It doesn't matter if you are a computer
  113. science, law, economic, social or political student; we like
  114. diversity to get new ideas.

  117. This is a full-time job. FSFE will be
