Currently implements both a format hook to remove white-space paragraphs, and a check to make their existence a critical failure. In the end may implement only one or none of these, subject to major design changes. Het OpenSwarm project zal beschermd worden door FSFE's Freedom Task Force (FTF).

Shane Coughlan, coördinator van de FTF, legt uit: "De Freedom Task Force is opgericht

om de juridische basis van het Vrije Software ecosysteem te versterken. De Fiduciary
|
|
licence Agreement moet daar ook toe bijdragen. Het stelt projecten in staat op een
|
|
transparante manier hun auteursrecht te consolideren. In het geval van OpenSwarm, wil de
|
|
FSFE optreden als juridisch voogd voor het project, zodat de ontwikkelaars zich
|
|
volledig kunnen focussen op het uitbreiden van hun boeiend ontwikkelplatform."
