<title>Upcycling Android Train-the-Trainers workshop (online)</title>

<p>With Upcycling Android, the Free Software Foundation Europe shows how Android devices can benefit from an extended lifespan by flashing them with a Free Software operating systems. This workshop is about sharing our knowledge and experience with people who are interested in organizing workshops on flashing Free Software operating systems themselves. Among other things, we will talk about the background of the campaign, what to consider when organizing a workshop and how we can help in promoting and implementing a workshop. Afterwards, there will be a talk on F-Droid by its lead maintainer Hans-Christoph Steiner and a talk on microG by its main developer Marvin Wißfeld.</p>

<p>The workshop will take place on 19.01.2023 from 6-8pm (CET) online in a BBB room: https://conf.fsfe.org/b/upa. The presentations will be in English. After a talk there will be time for questions and answers.</p>
