Teaching Materials

Our goal is to share available resources between educators so materials
can be reused, translated, and adapted to educators' own needs. The
following materials around Ada & Zangemann are currently known to
us:

The French Ministry of Education created a portal about Ada & Zangemann. The portal includes teaching resources, including an online comic-book creation application, an online version of the book in different languages, the movie and audiobooks in different languages, slides for reading at school, a board game, multilingual PDFs of the book, and more.

The Austrian Ministry of Education created an online course which includes interactive activities, discussion guides, and traditional exercises. It presents complex topics such as monopolies, lobbying, the digital divide, software freedom, digital autonomy, the Internet of Things (IoT), and electronic waste in a child-friendly way as part of an engaging storyline.

One teacher started asking their pupils to write letters to Zangemann. We have published some of the letters to Zangemann for which we have permission. If you do similar exercises, we would love to hear from you, and we will ensure Zangemann gets the letters.

For younger children, we offer drawing templates.
