<p>Erik Albers war Programmmanager und Senior Kommunikationsreferent bei der Free Software Foundation Europe. Dabei war er zuständig für interne und externe Kommunikation und Teil des PR-, Web- und Community-Teams der FSFE. Erik ist seit 2016 Mitglied der <a href="/about/people/index.html#general-assembly">General Assembly</a> und aktuell Koordinator Digitale Nachhaltigkeit. </p>

<h4>Schwerpunkte</h4>
|
|
|
|
<p>Als Programmanager gestaltete und leitete Erik die Aktivitäten der FSFE rund um die Nachhaltigkeit Freier Software. Er hat dazu Grundlagenpapiere zur <a href="/freesoftware/sustainability/sustainability.html">Nachhaltigkeit Freier Software</a> sowie zur <a href="/freesoftware/developmentcooperation/index.html">Digitalen Nachhaltigkeit in der internationalen Enwicklungszusammenarbeit</a> geschrieben und leitete die Kampagne <a href="/activities/upcyclingandroid/upcyclingandroid.html">"Upcycling Android"</a>. Auf unserer <a href="https://media.fsfe.org/">Peertube-Instanz</a> gibt es zahlreiche Vorträge von ihm zum Thema Software-Nachhaltigkeit von entsprechenden Fachkonferenzen. Als Kommunikationsreferent gestaltete Erik die Inhalte und Kontinuität unserer Kommunikation, Webpräsenz, unserer Kampagnen sowie das <a href="/contribute/spreadtheword">Promotion-Material der FSFE</a> und unsere <a href="/news/news">News-Seiten</a>.</p>

<h4>Öffentliche Vorträge und Schriften</h4>
|
|
|
|
<p>Erik hält gerne Vorträge über <a href="https://media.fsfe.org/w/3y9SdLpKQvZmmXZhEiZ9QV">Digitale Nachhaltigkeit</a>, wie auch speziell <a href="https://media.ccc.de/v/thms-49-ber-die-nachhaltigkeit-von-software">Über die Nachhaltigkeit von Software</a> und über die <a href="https://media.freifunk.net/v/35c3oio-74-f-droid-pimp-your-android-fork-with-the-best-free-software-apps">Freiheit zum mitnehmen</a>. Neben der Arbeit bei der FSFE schreibt Erik gelegentlich auf <a href="https://netzpolitik.org/author/erik/">Netzpolitik.org</a>. </p>

<h4>Hintergrund</h4>
|
|
|
|
<p>Erik studierte Politik, Soziologie, Kunst- und Medienwissenschaft in Konstanz und Granada. Er hat Anfang 2000 die Welt Freier Software entdeckt und ist leidenschaftlicher Fahrradfahrer. Er betreibt den umfassendsten <a href="https://foss.events/">Freie Software Veranstaltungskalender Europas</a> und philosophiert über <a href="https://opensourcegardens.info/">Open Source Gärten</a>.</p>
