  16. Max is Programme Manager of FSFE and responsible for some of our
  17. policy areas and public campaigns. For instance, he coordinates the
  18. <a href="https://publiccode.eu">Public Money, Public Code</a>
  19. campaign or our activities concerning <a
  20. href="/activities/radiodirective/">Radio Lockdown</a>. He is also
  21. part of the webmasters, system administrators, and translators
  22. teams.

  24. <p>
  25. He started to get active in FSFE in 2011 as a voluntary translator.
  26. Later he did an six month internship. Since then he has been
  27. involved in numerous campaigns, public events, and policy issues as
  28. a volunteer and later as part-time employee.
  29. </p>
  30. <p>
  31. Beside his work, Max studied Politics and Administration in
  32. Konstanz and Münster, founded a small IT company, lived and
  33. volunteered in Tanzania, and is a scout by
  34. conviction. From time to time he gives an update about his current
  35. private and professional activities on <a
  36. href="https://blog.mehl.mx">his blog</a>.
