Closed
kreyren wants to merge 1 commits from kreyren/fsfe-website:onionz into master

Onion services provide greater privacy and security for the end-users especially for these that have a threat model in place while giving the website owner more control over the routing, see https://github.com/github/feedback/discussions/2843 for more info

@max.mehl Could you provide more info in how are FSFE websites hosted?

From nmap it seems that fsfe.org is hosted on a different system then publiccode.eu etc.. So i need to know exactly how is it hosted and deployed on backend to work on implementing this.

Thanks for info ^-^

May I ask you to present and discuss this idea first on the web team mailing list? It may have a few implications that are too broad to discuss in a WIP pull request ;)

Also, I am currently officially on vacation. So I'm afraid I cannot provide too many details before 4 January.
