I am unhappy with the way we include custom preview images for sharing links, see here. It is a custom meta element which is not standardised.

Right now it's done like this: <meta name="image" content="https://fsfe.org/graphics/tshirt-promo-800px.jpg" />

But I would propose to have it like the discussion link, e.g.: <image src="https://fsfe.org/graphics/tshirt-promo-800px.jpg" />

It shouldn't be too hard to switch this. We can take the checks from the discussion tag, and change the behaviour of the current meta element. Subsequentially, we should update all existing occurences.
