Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I first want to as @max.mehl whether this is okay?
There are currently redundant home links (see screenshot):
I suggest to remove the top right link. This saves space and makes the top area cleaner.
Good idea. Indeed, there is not much sense to have this redundancy, neither from the optical nor from the UX point of view.
Also for accessibility, I see no advantage here since the logo carries the link and the text "Free Software Foundation Europe".
Does anyone else have comments? @eal @reinhard perhaps?
I completely agree with @mweimann
Argh - there is no other place saying "Free Software Foundation Europe". So I'm landing on the website, but where am I? :) I think that could be a task for the web-a-thon?
What do you mean by that? As far as I can see, the logo has a hidden span.
From the accessibility aspect, having a hidden
h1
would be the proper way I think.It says "Free Software Foundation Europe" in the footer. And actually I think the logo is enough - if you go, for example, to https://wwf.org/, the words "World Wildlife Fund" do not appear at the whole page at all.
Yes, I also think that's enough, especially if we get the tagline (#622)
Also, we should add the FSFE logo on the header of planet.fsfe.org (and remove the textual link) so its consistent
