The year links in the News Archive (i.e. https://fsfe.org/news/2021/index.en.html), point to index.en.html rather than their respective years.

update_localmenus is one of the more complex files, where I still have not upgraded it from a faithful translation of the bash to something a little more understandable. But I will take a look at doing so soon, in light of how messy it was when trying to fix this.
