Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The page for our "community": https://fsfe.org/contact/community.en.html could need some refreshment. It has been linked in the past a lot from our Newsletters and is wired with the following general-information pages:
/about/transparency-commitment/
/about/contact/
/contribute/contribute/
I think that /contact/community is together with the /about/contact/ page the two central points of contact-information. They could be merged but I also see the benefit of having them separate to promote one for the community to find their way into our discussion channels and one as a general link for our contact for people who like to get in contact or follow our social media etc.
I propose to refresh the /contact/community page, make it a little bit shinyer with icons or pictures and some more guidance. For example instead of linking only to a list of mailing lists, you could give some orientation with region-specific mailing-lists, mentioning the general discussion-list etc.
further details on this could be figured out.
As brought up by Max, the landing page created in #1329
https://fsfe.org/contact/email-updates.html
should maybe better be integrated on this page instead of being a seperate landing page on its own.
Quick note
While working on #1419 these two pages have been merged.
For lokal groups, there exists now the page
/about/groups
which could be integrated more into the contacts page.
