The original specification for the build system presumed, that the original language of articles would always be English. The result of having an article not provided in English would be unspecified.

During my present work I realize, that the rate of articles for which an English version does not exist seems to be quite high, leading to weird results when building tag-lists or pulling other kinds of content from the document.

We should check the overall ratio of non-English documents and see, if steps should be taken to adapt the language handling model.

Srsly...? I can comment on tickets, but not close them w/o Javascript!? (and I cannot manipulate tags either, even though drop downs are usually clickable)

Addendum - It gets worse: those comments first appeared on a different ticket, apparently because I had multiple Tabs open.
