I suggest to have the "follow our news" and the "social media" sidebar parts from https://fsfe.org/news/news.en.html also on each individual news item, e.g. here https://fsfe.org/news/2020/news-20200514-01.en.html below the press section. This way more people find the ways how to keep in touch with us.

Sure, although it might take some time until I can actually do it.

I can also do it. Would you be fine with me just adding this to the sidebar as proposed by @mk?

See also #1392 with a proposal to put the content of the news sidebar into a module, which would make implementation of this feature easier and cleaner.

In this case, I would see #1392 as the first thing to clarify.

But that would mean that we have to update all news/nl/episodes with their respective sidebars, right?

Right. I have created #1415 for this.

This issue is related to #1396 because if we put social media and follow our news in the footer, we also have it automatically on every news-item
