<p>De Zweedse stad Gothenburg ontving de gasten van <a

Licentiewerkgroep (LLW)</a>, editie 2023. Dit is de jaarlijkse
|
||||
conferentie voor de juridische netwerkgemeenschap. Een paar dagen later
|
||||
vond FOSS-North plaats, de conferentie in Gothenburg die de
|
||||
Scandinavische Vrije Softwaregemeenschappen samenbrengt. De FSFE
|
||||
organiseerde een track over politieke en juridische aspecten van Vrije
|
||||
Software en nam ook deel aan de gemeenschapsdag die aan de conferentie
|
||||
voorafging.

toespraak over de Verordening Interoperabel Europa en de mogelijke

studenten stoppen universiteit bij het gebruik van slechts propriëtaire authenticatie.</h3>

<p>Technologie-ambtenaren in Vilnius probeerden het gebruik van

propriëtaire twee factor-authenticatie (2FA) methoden af te dwingen.

Sommige studenten waren bezorgd dat de methoden de privacy in gevaar

zouden brengen en niet konden worden uitgevoerd op hun apparaten, dus

||||
stelden ze een alternatieve authenticatiemethode voor. Uiteindelijk kwam

de universiteit op haar besluit terug.

Lucas Lasota en Bonnie Mehring in discussie over Apparaatneutraliteit en

||||
Routervrijheid. Lucas legt uit hoe softwarevrijheid, de afwezigheid van

||||
vergrendeling door de verkoper en controle van de eindgebruiker over

data cruciaal zijn bij het breken van monopolies in digitale markten,

het promoten van een open internet en het verzekeren van de toegang van
