Facebook oder YouTube anvertrauen, sondern wechseln zu Alternativen wie

Mastodon und PeerTube. Wieso sind diese anders? Wie verändern sie das

||||||
|
Internet? Und wie kann man im Fediverse aktiv werden? Um diese Fragen
|
||||||
|
geht es am 22.09.2023 bei unserem Fachtag mit Vorträgen und
|
||||||
|
Workshops.</p>

<p>Der kostenlose Fachtag ist eine Präsenzveranstaltung der Free
|
||||||
|
Software Foundation Europe, der Landeszentrale für Politische Bildung
|
||||||
|
Nordrhein-Westfalen und der Volkshochschule Köln. Er richtet sich an
|
||||||
|
Multiplikatorinnen der politischen Bildung, an Lehrkräfte,
|
||||||
|
Vertreterinnen öffentlicher Institutionen und Bildungseinrichtungen
|
||||||
|
sowie an alle Interessierten. Vorkenntnisse und Erfahrungen rund um
|
||||||
|
dezentrale soziale Netzwerke sind nicht notwendig, denn ein Überblick
|
||||||
|
über verschiedene dezentrale Dienste, die oft als „Fediverse“
|
||||||
|
bezeichnet werden, gehört zum Programm. Weitere Themen sind Potenziale
|
||||||
|
und Probleme dezentraler Dienste und ihre Bedeutung für die
|
||||||
|
demokratische Gesellschaft. In drei Workshops geht es ganz praktisch um
|
||||||
|
die Nutzung von Fediverse-Diensten, um den Betrieb eigener Instanzen
|
||||||
|
und um Wissensvermittlung zu dezentralen sozialen Netzwerken im
|
||||||
|
Bildungskontext.

into these decentralised social networks through our talks and

<p>The Free Software Foundation Europe, the Centre for Civic Education

||||||
|
of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Adult Education Centre
|
||||||
|
Cologne are organising this free event. It is aimed at multipliers in
|
||||||
|
political education, teachers, representatives of public institutions
|
||||||
|
and educational establishments, as well as all interested parties.
|
||||||
|
Prior knowledge and experience of decentralised social networks is not
|
||||||
|
necessary, as the programme will include an overview of various
|
||||||
|
decentralised services, often referred to as "Fediverse". Other topics
|
||||||
|
include the potential and problems of decentralised services and their
|
||||||
|
role for a democratic society. Three workshops will deal with the
|
||||||
|
practical use of Fediverse services, the operation of own instances and
|
||||||
|
the transfer of knowledge about decentralised social networks in an
|
||||||
|
educational context.
