+control over technology. It does this by promoting Free Software (also 
+known as Open Source Software). In addition, Free Software promotes 
+innovation and prevents vendor lock-in. Digital sovereignty is only 
+possible with Free Software.</p>

+the digital domain. The upcoming elections and term of office are an 
+opportunity to take important steps on current themes such as

+<p>De Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) stelt gebruikers in staat 
+om technologie te controleren. Dat doet ze door Vrije Software 
+(ook wel Open Source Software genoemd) te stimuleren. Bovendien 
+bevordert Vrije Software innovatie en voorkomt het vendor lock-in. 
+Digitale soevereiniteit is alleen mogelijk met Vrije Software.</p>

+<p>Onze samenleving is steeds digitaler en dus is het cruciaal dat 
+publieke waarden ook in het digitale domein geborgd zijn. De aankomende 
+verkiezingen en regeerperiode zijn een kans om belangrijke stappen te 
+zetten op actuele thema's als <strong>kunstmatige intelligentie (AI)</strong> en 
+<strong>digitale gemeenschapsgoederen</strong>.</p>

+overheid verlangt dat ze standaard kiest voor Vrije Software. Dit is
