  13. <strong>The Fellowship</strong> is the primary way
  14. people can identify with and support the <strong>Free
  15. Software Foundation Europe</strong>. It provides
  16. <strong>collaborative tools</strong> for supporters to
  17. describe what they are doing and interact with each
  18. other. The Fellowship is a society for people who want
  19. to help the Free Software movement
  20. <strong>grow</strong>.

  23. <h2>Increase FSFE's financial independence!</h2>
  24. <p>
  25. Supporting freedom can mean having to be straightforward at
  26. times and that requires financial independence. With your yearly
  27. contribution, you lay the foundations for incorruptible and
  28. undeviating work.
  29. </p>
  30. <h2>Increase FSFE's political weight!</h2>
  31. <p>
  32. Supporting freedom can mean having to stand up against powerful
  33. opponents and that requires a strong voice. Your support adds
  34. weight to FSFE's message and increases its impact on political
  35. decision makers.
  36. </p>
  37. <h2>Increase FSFE's workforce!</h2>
  38. <p>
  39. Supporting software freedoms all over Europe requires helpers
  40. with vital local knowledge. As a Fellow, you can become FSFE's
  41. eyes, ears and hands wherever you live.
  42. </p>
  43. <h2>Local meetings</h2>
  44. <p>
  45. <a href="">Active Fellowship
  46. groups</a> are emerging in more and more European cities. These groups
  47. allow Fellows from an area to meet and get to know one another. Groups
  48. undertake activities ranging from a comfortable beer to running public
  49. awareness <a href="">events</a>.
  50. </p>
  51. <h2>As a Fellow, you get:</h2>
  52. <ul>
  53. <li>An <em></em> mail forwarding alias, a visible sign
  54. of your affiliation to Free Software Foundation Europe.</li>
  55. <li>A personal login to the Fellowship website, which includes
  56. a <a href="">blogging platform</a> and
  57. a <a href="">wiki</a>.</li>

  64. </ul>
  65. <h2>Decide for yourself!</h2>
  66. <p>
  67. As a Fellow, you decide how involved you want to get: from simple (and
  68. much appreciated) financial support, over contributing to <a
  69. href="/fellowship/communicate.html}">discussions online and at
  70. Fellowship meetings</a>, to becoming an elected representative of the
  71. Fellowship on FSFE's General Assembly - everything is possible.
  72. </p>
  73. <h2>Join today!</h2>
  74. <p>
  75. You can <a href="">join the Fellowship
