<h3>Acerca da FSF Europa</h3>
<p>A Free Software Foundation Europe (FSF Europe) � uma ONG sem finslucrativos, actualmente reconhecida como caridade na Alemanha,dedicada a todos os aspectos do Software Livre na Europa. Faz partede uma rede mundial de Funda��es para o Software Livre com a FSFUSA (FSF USA), fundada em 1985 por Richard M. Stallman,sendo actualmente a sua mais proeminente organiza��o-irm�.Informa��o sobre as actividades da FSF Europe pode ser encontradaem <a href="http://fsfeurope.org/index.pt.html">http://fsfeurope.org/index.pt.html</a></p><p>Desde a sua funda��o em in�cios de 2001, a FSF Europe j� desenvolveu a suaprecen�a em 7 pa�ses Europeus [<a href="#1">1</a>] atrav�s de organiza��esassociadas [<a href="#2">2</a>], cap�tulos locais e/ou membros destespa�ses. Presen�as noutros pa�ses est�o actualmente em desenvolvimento.</p><p>A FSF Europe teve um papel chave na decis�o de come�ar a mudar paraSoftware Livre com os servidores do parlamento Alem�o por modo areduzir a depend�ncia em monop�lios estrangeiros e tamb�m esteveenvolvida nos coment�rios do governo Franc�s contra a adop��o depatentes de software.</p><p>Entre outras coisas, participa no 5� Programa Quadro da Comiss�oEuropeia como parceiro do ``Projecto AGNULA'' (IST-2001-34879).</p>
